Two of the best films ever made are on tomorrow, Tuesday Christmas Day. One is easy to catch, though the second is very late (but it is the best of the two):

Singin' In The Rain

This one is worth it just for the title song + dance sequence. One of the most life-affirming films I've ever seen. It was released in 1952 but--Micaela will be pleased to hear--is in glorious Technicolor.

Airplane!
Channel 4 1:05am (strictly, Boxing Day)
The original disaster movie (1980), and possibly the funniest film I've ever seen. This has more jokes every minute than any stand-up comic that you've watched. You have to watch it 2 or 3 times to stand any chance of getting all the jokes. Really, really good.
