If I spot a life-affirming event I do my best to report it to you. This hour-long performance is one of those, enhanced powerfully by the ‘signer’ (a lady signing for the deaf, on the right of this picture):

The signer was so much getting into the music that, at about 14 minutes in the iPlayer show, Blondie spots her during the middle of a song. A wonderful smile spreads across her face and, after a few moments, she makes her way across the stage (singing all the while) and stands alongside her as one sings & the other signs:

The signer got a big hug at the end of the song.

Try to watch it. The whole set is good, and the signer’s response simply adds a sparkle throughout.
