In terms of taking the photo it is easy, as the page linked to above is full of photos taken via a Drone (the photo above is taken at Baltoro Glacier, Karakorum, Pakistan). No, the question in the subject-line refers to the 2 men.

I guess that there may be a set of stairs above them but (shiver) it sure looks dangerous to me. Just trying to use that slope (up or down) would surely cause them to slip & slide to their deaths. Of course, no young man thinks of that at the time.
