The man that featured in yesterday's email, and who was sought by police in connection with the keying of a £100,000 GBP ($149,593 USD) (€136,265 Euro) Aston Martin V8 Vantage, has been charged with criminal damage to a motor vehicle.

Here's a picture of a similar car:-

To recap:-

The V8 Vantage had been parked up in a supermarket car park on Morning Lane, Hackney, on 19 June. The vehicle had a DashCam, which was live & recording. The owner returned to the vehicle & discovered that it had been keyed whilst parked, causing a reported £9,000 GBP ($13,353 USD) (€12,166 Euro) of damage. The DashCam footage appeared to show a man preparing, then keying the car (the sound is most distinctive).

A Gary Eugene Brissett, 48, of Clissold Road in Hackney, is accused of this act & will appear before Thames Magistrates' Court on 4 September (boy, that was fast).
