A human-sized T-Rex has been discovered in China (China is a honeypot for fossils) and named Raptorex kriegsteini. It was alive about 125 million years ago (60/70 million years before the appearance of T-Rex) and weighed about the same as modern humans do. In all important features it was essentially a small T-Rex, and the archaeologists involved are mighty excited about it.
