Jane & Alan Slater, who live in the Isle of Wight, were delighted to discover that Jane's Lottery ticket won £149,089.30 ($221,722.63 USD, €202,651.90 Euro) in the 29 September 2015 EuroMillions Prize draw.

At first they wandered around the house in shock.

It was Labrador retriever Ruby's second birthday (they also have a border collie, Kai). Eventually Jane & Alan got in the car with their dogs, drove to a favourite place, and went for a walk.

Jane obviously has her eye on the eventual film that will be made of this event, as she describes what happened next:-

We had a lovely walk... chatting about the amazing start to the week with our Euromillions win and how lucky we had been. As we got back in the car to head home, Ruby hopped on to the back seat with me and disturbed this piece of paper inside a catalogue which gently floated down to my feet. I really can't explain the way this piece of paper floated, it was like you see in slow motion in films, as though someone wanted me to notice it.

Jane & Alan were about to discover a small miracle. You see, up to this moment Jane thought that the winning ticket was the one that she bought. However, Alan was thinking that it was the one that he bought. In a way, both were right. Alan continues the tale:-

We both burst into tears when we saw the second ticket was also a winner. It all happened in such a magical way, what with Ruby disturbing the ticket on her birthday and it floating so gently right in front of Jane's eyes.

The winning numbers were 11, 14, 26, 29, 49 and Lucky Star number three. Apparently, there is a good chance that Ruby & Kai will also be getting some extra treats.
