Maggie the doe deer photo-bombs a picture of a baby taken within Sam Houston State Park, Louisiana

The scene was already pretty glutinous in that way that the US loves & does so well. Photographer Megan Rion was busy in Sam Houston State Park, Louisiana. She had settled her (unnamed) baby upon a cloth, upon a straw bale, and surrounded by all the symbols of Autumn. Doggone it, doesn’t s/he look lovely? Then--hells bells--Maggie the doe deer turns up. Cue a million internet hits.
