Timur (goat) & Amur (tiger) are happy together in an enclosure at a safari park in the far east of Russia

Amur the tiger has been eating live goats, rabbits & sheep, twice a week, for the last 3 years. A month ago yet another goat was released into his enclosure. For some reason, Timur the goat (for it was he) was still alive 4 days later, and sleeping in Amur’s shelter. The two are still together, and the best of friends. Amur still gets fed twice a week but, out of respect for Timur, the Park no longer feed him goats.

Naturally, the two of them now have their own Facebook page & are on Instagram & Twitter. When the Safari Park installed a WebCam & put it up online it immediately crashed their site due to the demand. Visitor numbers at the Park are triple what they were.
