Banksy has done a number of pieces directly connected with the Calais refugee camp, and this one--clearly modelled on the musical “Les Miserables”, and showing a young girl with tears in her eyes from a canister of CS Gas--is yet another.

The artwork incorporates an interactive QR code (a first for Banksy pieces AFAIK). Viewed with a mobile phone, the BBC reports that it links to a web-based video of a raid on the Calais ‘Jungle" camp on January 1st during which teargas and rubber bullets were used.

That sounds like perfect propaganda to me.
